Anger and Love!

Came across this and couldn't stop myself from putting it here -

Anger and Love have NO LIMIT - choose the later to have a beautiful & lovely life.....

THINGS are meant to be USED and PEOPLE are to be LOVED, ...but the problem of today's world is that....
People are used & Things are loved!!!

The Cycle Repairer!

Another leap from the memory lane....

Was on my way to work, than I saw this cycle repairer on the road side-fixing a cycle. He had nothing more than a sheet of polythene to cover him from the heat or the rain. This sight took me back to my childhood days.

There was this cycle repairer in the neighborhood fondly known as 'German'- the 'G' pronounced as 'Ga'. He was also more popular for his cunningness.. He had a son and at times it was difficult to figure out who the father is and who the son was... both looked the same age, white haired. Son died first! SAD....

Okay, talking about his cunningness; he used to charge money from anyone who uses the cycle pump which was pretty odd those days.. and people paid as they had no choice!! He was nearest one so we used to go to him to fix or repair cycles, being old he was slow- too slow- and above that he would charge an extra rupee for anything he would do. That cunning he was!!

I do not know how this present guy is for I do not have a cycle!!

Back...long long time!!

Been a long time since I last wrote something!

I have been home last April-May as usual just as every son would do for his father… Not dwelling into it much… Thought couple of times of updating my blogs but couldn’t... I guess I am suffering from Blogo-phobia.

I knew going home isn’t like those old days when I would have friends all the time, all scattered now, so I made it sure that D came along. D couldn’t make it for the day for which I had come, but did come down. Then two other B and R were there too. B as always was only a phone call away and R always busy- could meet only 3 or 4 times.

Then we B, D and myself, R busy, planned on going to this garden which have become quite famous courtesy some films songs been shot there. So we went there, it was around 3 and we 3 were there posing for the camera, have never done anything like this before so it was quite an experience!

Then there were the usual “Chaak-chanabas” and I was the cook in all the occasions!! I had developed different ways of cooking chicken all friends knew this so D had decided that he would start eating chicken only if I cooked it. He had only seen us eating all these 10 years and there he started having it again. Felt great he liked it just as everyone else did. R is never gonna taste any non-vegs I guess, I fear if he’s becoming a recluse someday!!

Days past by and this time around I really didn’t get bored; I had already had this preconception that I would get bored in 2 days!! D left a day before me and we are back to our respective work places.

Many things have changed since and they will continue to do so. I believe whatever happens they happen for the good!

The Prayer...

We pray,we all do.. God gives us with opportunities so that we get what we prayed for and it is we human that do not see this coming our way and lose out. He sees all and blesses us in all that we do. Sometimes we do not welcome changes or new people in our life which, if given a thought, could be God's way of showing us the way to what we always wanted from life.

God answers our prayers, we have to keep our mind open to be able to see it and grab it!!

Again!!

It is that time of the year again, the time to tell myself of the things I have to do, to accomplish as a son and a brother. I have not lost track of what I should be doing, thanks to my upbringing - thanks to my Dad whose blessings are still with me and shall ever remain.
Again, it’s the time where I need to perform my duties as a son. Couldn’t do much during HIS lifetime and I promise this time of each year are HIS and shall abide by my words. Bless me as you have always.
Love you Baba!

The Dead Soul!

Was a sunday evening, going to the neardy supermarket as usual to get stuffs for the week. Not far away I saw an elderly woman in her late 70s trying to cross the ever busy road of Krishna Nagar. Asking passersby to help her cross the road, no one to pay any attention to her; saw quite a number of people passing her but took no notice of her. She looked at me, used her hand as an indication to help her cross, I understood what she was trying to say having seen her doing that all the while I was walking towards her.

Took her hand, crossed her the other side, she thanked me and I went on my way...

Was all the people before me really human or is it that their souls are all dead that they not cared the call of the old lady. People are too busy with what is happening in their lives than to worry about what is happening around them.. I wonder had it been a much younger person in her place would they have ignored that person.
