The Dream...my life

We dream all the time of things we can have and things we cannot have...Sometimes a dream is all we need, Sometimes a dream is what we are left with. We all need something to live our life with...A special someone who would come into our life and be the reason for that dream...

Living in the thoughts of that special someone...
Living my dream is all what I am doing...

Anger and Love!

Came across this and couldn't stop myself from putting it here -

Anger and Love have NO LIMIT - choose the later to have a beautiful & lovely life.....

THINGS are meant to be USED and PEOPLE are to be LOVED, ...but the problem of today's world is that....
People are used & Things are loved!!!

The Cycle Repairer!

Another leap from the memory lane....

Was on my way to work, than I saw this cycle repairer on the road side-fixing a cycle. He had nothing more than a sheet of polythene to cover him from the heat or the rain. This sight took me back to my childhood days.

There was this cycle repairer in the neighborhood fondly known as 'German'- the 'G' pronounced as 'Ga'. He was also more popular for his cunningness.. He had a son and at times it was difficult to figure out who the father is and who the son was... both looked the same age, white haired. Son died first! SAD....

Okay, talking about his cunningness; he used to charge money from anyone who uses the cycle pump which was pretty odd those days.. and people paid as they had no choice!! He was nearest one so we used to go to him to fix or repair cycles, being old he was slow- too slow- and above that he would charge an extra rupee for anything he would do. That cunning he was!!

I do not know how this present guy is for I do not have a cycle!!

Back...long long time!!

Been a long time since I last wrote something!

I have been home last April-May as usual just as every son would do for his father… Not dwelling into it much… Thought couple of times of updating my blogs but couldn’t... I guess I am suffering from Blogo-phobia.

I knew going home isn’t like those old days when I would have friends all the time, all scattered now, so I made it sure that D came along. D couldn’t make it for the day for which I had come, but did come down. Then two other B and R were there too. B as always was only a phone call away and R always busy- could meet only 3 or 4 times.

Then we B, D and myself, R busy, planned on going to this garden which have become quite famous courtesy some films songs been shot there. So we went there, it was around 3 and we 3 were there posing for the camera, have never done anything like this before so it was quite an experience!

Then there were the usual “Chaak-chanabas” and I was the cook in all the occasions!! I had developed different ways of cooking chicken all friends knew this so D had decided that he would start eating chicken only if I cooked it. He had only seen us eating all these 10 years and there he started having it again. Felt great he liked it just as everyone else did. R is never gonna taste any non-vegs I guess, I fear if he’s becoming a recluse someday!!

Days past by and this time around I really didn’t get bored; I had already had this preconception that I would get bored in 2 days!! D left a day before me and we are back to our respective work places.

Many things have changed since and they will continue to do so. I believe whatever happens they happen for the good!

The Prayer...

We pray,we all do.. God gives us with opportunities so that we get what we prayed for and it is we human that do not see this coming our way and lose out. He sees all and blesses us in all that we do. Sometimes we do not welcome changes or new people in our life which, if given a thought, could be God's way of showing us the way to what we always wanted from life.

God answers our prayers, we have to keep our mind open to be able to see it and grab it!!

Again!!

It is that time of the year again, the time to tell myself of the things I have to do, to accomplish as a son and a brother. I have not lost track of what I should be doing, thanks to my upbringing - thanks to my Dad whose blessings are still with me and shall ever remain.
Again, it’s the time where I need to perform my duties as a son. Couldn’t do much during HIS lifetime and I promise this time of each year are HIS and shall abide by my words. Bless me as you have always.
Love you Baba!

The Dead Soul!

Was a sunday evening, going to the neardy supermarket as usual to get stuffs for the week. Not far away I saw an elderly woman in her late 70s trying to cross the ever busy road of Krishna Nagar. Asking passersby to help her cross the road, no one to pay any attention to her; saw quite a number of people passing her but took no notice of her. She looked at me, used her hand as an indication to help her cross, I understood what she was trying to say having seen her doing that all the while I was walking towards her.

Took her hand, crossed her the other side, she thanked me and I went on my way...

Was all the people before me really human or is it that their souls are all dead that they not cared the call of the old lady. People are too busy with what is happening in their lives than to worry about what is happening around them.. I wonder had it been a much younger person in her place would they have ignored that person.

The Fools' Day-the fun day!!

Originated in France way back in the 16th century, supposed to have been the First Day of the year till then. Charles IX introduced the Gregorian Calendar and with it January 1 became the First Day of the year. With no means of Transport and Communication in those days, many people did not know of the new Calendar for many years and continued to celebrate new year on April 1; these people/folks were labeled the 'Fools'...
Over the years people started playing pranks and practical jokes on others and this has continued till today, all in good spirit....

The first of April is the day we remember what we are the other 364 days of the year. -- Mark Twain

Never give up!!

Having this belief in myself that what I believe; is what I love; is one thing that has driven me for so long...
Never having to give up what I love; never keeping myself away from reality; keeping my feet firmly footed on the ground; knowing my limits as a human; something that I need to remind myself of what I am....

Never giving up love because love brings so much of happiness; the pain is definitely a part of it that makes love a sweet thing to experience...

Poignancy!!

There are things in my mind, things that I share with no one, things that I let nobody know...
Things which are better left as they are, sometimes trying too hard to get what we want from life proves futile and we end up feeling lost not to mention lonely..

I have lived long enough to be able to decide what is good and what is bad, I may not always be correct- it's human to make mistakes and again it's human to forgive! huh..talking about forgiveness-I made mistakes, yes I did, and I am doing my part to get forgiveness from everyone I have hurt.. There hasn't been any other moment, nothing I can recall off, where I did things I would regret later...

I put so much of myself in everything that I do, expect something similar if not on the same scale from the other people involved.. But this is not always done!

People say love happens anywhere, anytime... I say love happens only once and the rest is a compromise; a compromise that we live with; try to be happy with...

In life, there comes a point where nothing seems to be going right; have learned not to fret, for I know God has saved the best for me.

What a week!!!

Need a break,, been a crazy week this one... feel like going away somewhere alone with no means of commnication/entertainment around - no phones, no internet, no television.. would anyone miss me, I doubt!
Seriously! I do not think anyone would ever care to find out if I was alive STILL... That's a problem, isn't it???

If in life a stage comes when noone cares your existence, what's the point of living such a life? A question I often ask myself and found no answer... I wish I could see tomorrow then there would be no worries or will that bring more worries??

But why am I worried about what's going to happen tommorrow when I have got my today to worry about?? Things which are not under my control are better left to itself, why worry...

FIGHT, FIGHT and FIGHT till you get what you are running for and never give up!

Got to do some thinking over the weekend!!!

JAI HO!!

The song that brought laurel to the Country on a World Stage....got two Oscars to show that!!!

The essence of the song is such that the National Congress Party is running to get it's right.. Hmmm...
They say the song depicts the spirit of the nation.. hmmm some song ha???
We have such a long FILM history and numerous songs that have touched our hearts or perhaps songs that depicts the spirit of the youth or the nation... But it took Gulzar who put in all his experience into this song, the geniuses of AR Rahman and the hands of a Westerner to actually awaken the sleeping souls and minds of our so called politicians... hmmm JAI HO!!!

Thank you Danny, if not for you these politicians would have not known what the spirit of this Nation is.. that's another JAI HO to you!!!

Paradise Lost???

Often I dreamed a dream of a world filled with Love.. Often I saw my dreams shattered to pieces...Being born in this world I will dream and no one can take this away from me...

Some say it's Fortune/Faith that decides what we get or what we lose.. but what would you say to those who have been always "FORTUNATE" not to get what they ever wanted from life... I'd say they have been cursed...

But not all is lost, there will be greener meadows somewhere, at some stage.. Never giving up should be the way, should never heed, if we lose a thing we consider important today, there will a tomorrow when we may get something that would add more value in our life... And that day will be the day when the Paradise that we have dreamed of will meet it's light...

Angel Eye!!

Saw a face, so innocent and lovely; no face has ever left this lasting impact on me; or I don't remember if I ever felt like this about anyone.

Wanna start my day seeing this beautiful face for the rest of my life. My world would be complete if I could get to keep this Angel forever and not lose her come what may; see her smile, keep her happy all the time.

Wanna end my day seeing this mesmerizing beauty each day of my life. How tiring a day may be, if I could see her every time I look for her all my tiredness will be gone and my weary body will get a freshness that it’d never got the whole day…..

Unpredictability - that's life.

We all wish for certain things in life, sometime we feel we are so close to getting them the next moment we realize how close we were to getting them…
We make mistakes if not all the time sometimes, and if we do not learn from them where are we headed? To some place which we never dreamt of. When this happens we have no one else to blame but ourselves.

Sometimes I feel of leaving everything and going away somewhere where I could get lost amidst people I don’t know; but running away is not in my nature. Then I asked myself what is it that I am running from? What sin have I committed? Is it the way I am thinking that’s making me feel this way. Maybe so; I need to come out of this.

I have been trying to find my happiness in others while it was always within me. This I have come to know of late; maybe that’s why we say experience teaches a man of what to do and what not to do. Doing what I do best will be what I will be doing going forward and not think of the result, lets see what life has to offer.

Good things happening finally...

...continued from my previous post

Well! nothing much been happening on their ends, so I I had left them alone wishing them good luck.
Months have passed and things finally seems bright; their lives, thoughts seems to be heading to the right direction.

I only wish them luck and lots and loads of happiness in whatever they do. May God be always with them.

...might continue.

The story continues...

...continued from my previous post

The guy did go home. They met, were happy, decided to take things slowly....
Some of the things that took my interest in these two people can be summarized as below.

Personality-wise
Guy
- Takes life as it comes; Feels he can meet any challenges that comes his way; Needs an assurance that he is wanted; Lovable; caring and understanding; ready to go to any extent for the one he loves; tries to understand the situation before acting.
Gal - Ambitious; Feels insecure of things-can get misdirected; Hard working; Sentimental yet very strong minded; May be caring but not visible.
Professional-wise
Guy - Doing well with a good job on hand; visits home once or twice; No immediate plans of coming back home.
Gal - Got many things going on in her mind at present; May not have time for LOVE!! She is at home by situation not by choice.

They are two VERY different individuals... Can they make it? Or is it going to be one of those affairs that may not see it's dawn? God knows!!

Certain amount of insecurity looming over these two people though. I would be following this story as close as I can.....

... to continue

Boy meets gal!

Been sometime since the last time I wrote something... I have been doing some thinking, jotting down some of the thoughts but not been able to post them... Here I am posting some........

HE :-- Hi!
SHE :-- Hello!
HE :-- How are you?
SHE :-- Fine! you?
HE :-- Good!! You don't know me yet... So, please free to ask me anything.
SHE :-- Ya, Have only seen a glimpse of your snap.
HE :-- So, you did! hope no one made a fool of me!!
SHE :-- Not really!
HE :-- So, someone really did??

SHE :-- Let's forget that part, not so important.. Heard you are coming home??
HE :-- Yep! I am coming home this month-end.
SHE :-- I guess we will meet, then decide on what to do.
HE :-- Didn't get you??
SHE :-- I meant we know what our parents/elders want, and it's up to us now so,...
HE :-- Okay like that... That's fair enough. Let's try and get to know each other first...
SHE :-- Yes.

HE :-- So, you have completed your Masters? What other plans?
SHE :-- Yes. Plan to do B.Ed than M.Ed. Also have plans to do PHD. I guess my whole life will be over studying!!
HE :-- That's not bad... Learning is a never-ending process!!
SHE :-- True.
HE :-- What plans about settling down?
SHE :-- I want to, I know I have to someday.

HE :-- Okay! Anything you wanna know about me??
SHE :-- Don't know. At present, there is nothing on my mind. Give me sometime. Hope you don't mind.
HE :-- Nope!! appreciate that.

Who am I?

It's not a take from the Jet Li starer, but a question I am seeking an answer to...

Who am I and what do I want to be? Some tough questions... May never get the answer…
To some I am the whole world and I am everything, nothing I do can go wrong…
To some I am just another being whom they come across in their everyday lives-not worth remembering…

If I could make an impression that lasts a long time to those people whom I come across in my everyday life then I would say I am somebody...

Uncertainties fill our lives and we are never so sure of what life has to offer. I am moving on in a flow that fate has spurned my way, hoping this could be the one ROAD chosen for me. I am glad there are people who do care for me. And I wish those people well who do not care for me…

For I have not harmed anyone in my life, would anyone harm me? God knows and HE will prepare me for those times else I have no fear I am a fighter…

Time and the waiting game!

Time - they say is the best healer of all wounds... And I have learnt it the hard way and Time does heal all wounds.
Things have not been easy, the year gone by have taught me lots of things - Not all that glitters is gold, Not all that we see is the truth, Not all that we wish come true... However hard life may be, it sure does have its way to show us that not all battles is lost. We may have lost a battle here but the WAR is not over yet, others may have won this battle but the WAR is not WON yet...

I am sure my time will come and am waiting for that time to come and shall not push for anything for they say - "There's no need to rush your journey for nothing will happen as fast as you wish." So, I will play the waiting game!
